Ramaphosa appointed Judge Zondo as new Chief Justice

The President of the Republic of South Africa ,Cyril Ramaphosa has decided to appoint Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo as the next Chief Justice of the Republic of South Africa.

This appointment will effect from the 01st of April 2022 . Zondo will take over Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng.The office of the Chief Justice congratulates Zondo on his appointment.
