Economic Freedom Fighters had the Siyabonga Rally in eThekwini on Saturday afternoon.EFF leader Julius Malema delivered the speech to thank the voters who helped the party to move from 3,31% in 2016 local government elections to 8,64 in 2021 local government elections.Malema says President Ramaphosa uses Covid-19 to stay onto power.
"We must never retreat ,nothing can stop us .We must never be stopped.Lets go take the victory of the EFF come 2024.We are going to finish this race.Always put the EFF first than your egos,Always ask yourself ,is this in the interest of the organization then if not walk away.
"We must stop projects that do not employ people from the region in which the project is taking place,by doing so you will be forcing them to create jobs for our people.We are going to visit hospitality industry ,we want them to tell us how many South Africans have they hired.We do not fight with foreigners ,are our brothers and sisters ,hate the owner because foreigners do not hire themselves 'said Malema.
"We need a camera-man a professional one ,the one who will expose corruption.In the EFF we cannot pay people to go around and spend monies with their nyatsi's ( girlfriends) while they are doing nothing for the party.We are proud of eThewini ,they sent a clear message but we were failed by politicians.
"We want to thank people of kwaNongoma who said they want a deputy Mayor,People of Mhlathuze said they want the deputy Mayor of the EFF ,once again thank you for trusting us.When you kill a snake ,you don't leave it.We must burn it because the tail is still moving .In 2024 ,we must finish it and burn in and bring Ashes to the Winnie Madikizela Mandela House".
