IFP won ward 6 in Okhahlamba Municipality on by-elections

IFP won ward 6 in Okhahlamba Municipality on by-elections picture

Inkatha Freedom Party ( IFP) has retained the seat won in 2021 Municipal elections by winning 57.91% of the total votes cast compared to 48.82% in the 2021 Municipal Elections.Voter turnout was 57.26% on the 02 February 2022.

 

National Freedom Pary (NFP ) won ward 17 in Nongoma Municipality after retaining the seat won in 2021 Municipal Elections by getting 44.85% of the total votes cast compared to 46.96% in the 2016 Municipal elections,voter turnout was 50.56%.Bongukwazi Sonbon Mbatha is the new elected Councillor

 

Nkokhelo Msomi is the new NFP elected Councillor in Ward 20 in Nongoma Municipality as the party gained the seat previously won by IFP in the 2021 Municipal Elections,by winning 36.67% of the total votes cast compared to 37.93% won by IFP in the 2021 Municipal Elections.Voter turnout was 51.11%
