CAF COVID-19 Rules On AFCON 2022

Following nine players from Senegal National Team who tested positive for Covid-19, Algeria ,Ivory Coast and Morocco who also reported Covid-19 cases,CAF issued a statement to give guidance on how such matters will be dealt with throughout the tournament .

According to CAF on www.cafonline.com a team that doesn't have a minimum of 11 players available will be considered to have lost the match by 2 goals to nil,unless in exceptional cases , CAF organising committee of the Africa Cup Of Nations will take the appropriate decision.
