AmaZulu FC assistant coach Siyabonga Nomvethe his cellphone number has been used to phone almost everyone.According to AmaZulu fc the number has been used by the scammers.

 Earlier this year ,Chairman of the club Sandile Zungu ,his name was used by scammers ,promising young players to pay certain amount of money to join AmaZulu FC. Stellenbosch FC , Marumo Gallants and Golden Arrows has distanced themselves from any trials where players were expected to pay certain amount of money.Psl clubs urged the public to be arlet at all times .

AmaZulu welcomed Raja Casablanca from Morocco in the CAF Champions League at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
