32 years old Woman arrested in Zonkizizwe

Zonkizizwe Police Station Media and Liason Officer Seargent Ruffus Tema says this past weekend the level of crime was low and he thanked residents in Zonkizizwe Zone 5 and Zone 6 for working together with the police.

Speaking to Kasie FM ,he said"The 32 years old woman has been arrested in Zonkizizwe on assault grievous bodily harm ( GBH) it is the only arrest we have made for the past weekend.What we have identified in the area is the increase in burglary.We are hoping the community will continue to work with us especially the patrollers".

According to reports in Katlehong Police Station in Ramokonopi section ,24 suspects were arrested over the weekend in which two of them committed murder in 2017 were found by detectives .The suspects will appear at Palmridge Magistrate Court.

Majority of cases involves damage of property ,shop lifting and theft. Report indicate that there were less hijackings this past weekend , the police are urge residents to work with the police in fighting crime in the area.
